Laksola's product range has high quality MICA paper and MICA based insulating materials. It includes Calcined and Uncalcined Mica Papers of both Muscovite and Phlogopite Mica - with the option of Aramid Fibrid. This specialized capability gives Laksola a clear edge in the world of mica based electrical insulation.

The range of backing materials include woven glass fabric, polyimide/polyester films with binders such as epoxy-novolac, modified /unmodified /trifunctional epoxy, silicone and polyester systems. Also included in the range are mica-splitting based insulation segment/molding sheets with alkyd vinyl/shellac as binders for use in commutators.

Over the years, Laksola's range of hi-performance mica tapes has been meeting the exacting insulation needs of high-voltage equipments such as power generators, AC and DC motors, traction motors, wind turbine generators, commutators and FR cables.

Laksola offers a wide range of mica based insulating materials, with LAMICA paper backing materials such as woven glass fabric, polyimide/polyester films and binders such as epoxy- novolac, modified /unmodified /trifunctional epoxy, silicone and polyester systems. Also included in the range are mica-splitting based insulation segment/molding sheets with alkyd vinyl/shellac as binders for commutators

The Laksola range of resin-rich/resin-poor/traction motor tapes and segment/molding sheets has seen positive growth in the domestic market. The customer base includes names such as BHEL (all units), Indian Railways, CG Power, KEC, ABB, Siemens, Saini and TDPS.

Over the last two decades Laksola's range of LAMICA paper has also seen a sustained upward trend in international markets. A major part of this growth has come from the Resin Rich and Resin Poor MICA tapes.
